So how do we like it here in Texas? Well, so far, we like it a lot. I've been asked to post pictures of the house, so here are a few.
So welcome to our home. This is what you'd see when you come on in. I love the entry.

And here's the kitchen...

But we've come upon some unexpected issues here.
First of all, we have really high ceilings in some areas of the house, so I'm not sure what we'll do when it comes time to replace a light bulb. Or remove unwanted stuff from way up there...
Yeah, that's right. A balloon. Craig and I placed bets on when we thought it would finally come down. In the meantime, Strawberry Shortcake has a bird's eye view......because if you know Craig like I do, then you know why we don't have a really tall ladder around the house :) Love ya, honey!
And we're probably one of the few crazy people on this planet who don't actually sleep in the master bedroom suite, but our guests enjoyed it over Christmas. We even bought curtains to make their stay more comfortable. Can you guess which one does not belong?
:) Oops.
At least the window's covered for now!So we're all getting comfortable here. We even spent New Year's cuddled up before the fire as we watched the ball drop. Very nice.
And one of the best parts about being here? Craig and I can both keep doing the work we did previously. He works from home, and I just contacted my past editors and received a new assignment for next month. I know, I'm crazy. As if I need more work! :)
Jenna goes back to school tomorrow. I think she's looking forward to it. Truthfully, so am I :) I'll miss having her around, but it's a little easier with two during the day instead of all three. Especially with challenging Miss Hannah, our resident two year old, who was so tired and cranky all day but refused to take a nap! Boy, what I would have given to be able to take one... ;)
She finally gave in and konked...
...when everyone stopped telling her to! :)
So I moved her to a more comfortable location.
Aaahhh... sleep at last!
Well, time to wrap it up for now. Cohen's starting to stir now.

I'm glad you guys are starting to settle in thought we miss you. Remember to bring Miss Hannah's shirt with you so we can take a pic of the girls together - sounds exhausting doesn't it? ;-)
P.S. You were right...you are funnier on paper ;-) - J/K! I loved reading it, it really made me laugh!
